Detailed Product Description:
Titebond III is the first one-part waterproof wood glue that cleans up with water.
It is comprised of a proprietary polymer-based formulation that combines the best
features of both the typical cabinet glue (aliphatics, “PVAs”, “white glue”) with the
water-resistance of the popular and more expensive polyurethanes (e.g., “Gorilla Glue”).
It is a more economical alternative to polyurethane while providing stronger
wood-to-wood bond strength. Unlike polyurethanes, there are no health issues nor
does it require the use of gloves. Bond line strengths of up to 4,000psi are
possible—greater than the strengths of most wood substrates.
Titebond III is usable in workshop temperatures down to 47˚F.
Meets water resistance requirements defined by ANSI/HPVA Type I testing.
