Detailed Product Description:

This is an economical urea/formaldehyde plastic resin glue that is water resistant

and is typically used for furniture, millwork, hollow core doors, decorative

laminates to wood.  This adhesive has been the mainstay of the classic wood water ski

industry for decades.

This adhesive is also FAA approved for use in certificated aircraft.  It has been

used for many years in a wide range of aircraft applications.  Conforms to Federal

Spec. MMM-A-188b, Type II (Unextended).  It is unaffected by oil, gasoline and

solvents.

Mixing ratio is 5 parts Weldwood powder to 2 parts water by volume.  The pot life

of the mixed adhesive is 4-5 hours and is successfully cured at workshop temperatures

of  70ºF and above.  When kept dry, the powdered resin has a minimum shelf life of 1 year.

Precautions:

Contains Formaldehyde.  May cause eye irritation.  Can be a skin irritant.

Toxic by ingestion and skin absorption.

Powdered resin comes packed in a 4.5 lb plastic pail.
