EFS-2500 Paint Stripper #680-701

Price:
$46.88
Chemical Name:
EFS-2500 Paint Stripper
Synonyms:
Paint Stripper, Paint Lifter

Detailed Product Description:

EFS-2500 is the most effective paint stripper we have tried yet.

This stripper will lift even the toughest powder coats, epoxies, and

aerospace-grade polyurethanes.

It is earth-friendly, eco-safe, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-hazardous,

and biodegradable.  And, unlike most industrial-grade strippers, EFS-2500

contains no methylene chloride (dichloromethane).

Applications:
The EFS-2500 formulation is compatible with the needs of the aerospace,

aviation, marine, automotive, military (army & navy), commercial,

and building restoration industries.  Some industry uses include paint

stripping for aircraft, helicopters, boats, ships, military vehicles, trains,

building graffiti, dip tanks, and more.

Applicable Substrates:

Will safely and effectively lift the toughest coatings from all metals

including aluminum, cadmium, magnesium, steel, titanium, steel,

stainless, copper, and zinc.  Also works amazingly well on brick,

ceramic, concrete, fiberglass, masonry, plaster, stone, wood, furniture,

and gelcoats.  Formulation also prevents localized breakdown of

passivating oxide films.

How It Works:

Unlike traditional paint removers or strippers that seek to dissolve

the coating, EFS-2500 works by penetrating the microscopic pinholes

in the coating and then attacking the bond between the coating and the

substrate.  Thus, it works more like a paint lifter than a paint remover.

Specification Compliance and Endorsements:

EFS-2500 was tested by Boeing Aircraft Company in 2007 per D6-17487

“Evaluation of Aircraft Maintenance Materials.”
