Detailed Product Description:

Also known as “Lubribond A”, this is an air-drying solid film dry lubricant

Coating.

It can be used for a variety of applications, including bottoms of boats, and

inside jet drives.  We’ve also seen it used on racing water skis, kayaks, etc.

It’s a graphite-like dry film coating that creates a smooth, slick surface for

maximum water flow and low water surface adhesion.  The color is dark gray.

Available in aerosol spray for small jobs as well as quarts and gallons to use

from a spray gun.

• Meets Mil-L-233988, Type II
• Offers excellent coefficient of friction properties

Background:

Lubri-Bond A is an air-dry, MoS2/Graphite based solid film lubricant with an

epoxy binder system.  This coating provides an extremely low coefficient of

friction, and performs best over a wide variety of loads.  Lubri-Bond A qualifies

to MIL-L-23398B. 

Shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture.

Shelf Life and Storage:

One year from date of shipment, stored in a factory sealed container between the

temperatures, 40° to 90°F.  Coatings are thermally stable, but we do not recommend

prolonged exposure outside of the specified temperature range listed above.

Precautions:

Processing fumes may cause irritation of the eyes and respiratory tract.

Use with adequate ventilation.  Avoid breathing process fumes.
