A colorless, stable liquid with an odor similar to dichlorobenzene.

Soluble in most organic solvents.  Insoluble in water.

Commonly used as a solvent in chemical manufacturing, as a dielectric

fluid, as a heat transfer fluid, and in insecticides.

Precautions:

Combustible.

Toxic by ingestion and inhalation.

Irritant to eyes, nose and skin.  TLV = 5ppm

Comes packed in 500ml amber glass bottle.  Also available in 250ml size.
