Typically found in the semiconductor and aerospace industries, fluorinated solvents offer the ultimate in inertness and low toxicity.  They are most effective at diluting, dissolving and removing the fluorocarbon oils and greases.  Their biggest disadvantage—their high cost.  Here you will find many of the more popular fluorinated solvents in small, economical quantities for specialty use.
